Unlocking the value of good information management
Bramble.cc has developed an information value model for The National Archives. This toolkit quantifies the significant cost savings and other benefits of good information management.
Benefits of information management
Quantifying benefits to inform a cost-benefit analysis or a return-on-investment (ROI) decision can be a sensitive and challenging task for information management projects, especially in the public sector.
Yet projects that avoid this step often have difficulties later, which is why OGC (the Office of Government Commerce) mandates it for central government bodies.
Often a project, information or IT manager knows that the project is worth doing, but is unable to persuade decision-makers without hard numbers.
How valuable is your information?
The Information Management Value Model (IMVM) has been developed by Bramble.cc on behalf of The National Archives’ Digital Continuity Project. The tool will ensure best practice in information management throughout the public sector.
Would you like the benefits?
We are currently seeking candidate organisations to help with further refinement and testing.
You could be one.
You will gain a proper financial business case, to make a real bottom-line difference to your organisation, and contribute to UK best practice.
To register your interest or discuss the practicalities, email contact@bramble.cc or call Bramble.cc on 020 7735 0030.
