Scoping study
With any information management strategy, it’s important to understand the scope of the problem. To do that, you have to dig deep, ask all the right questions and analyse the results to provide a clear route forward.

Bramble.cc is expert in scoping information management projects. We can devise and undertake an in-depth scoping study to establish the nature and scale of the information management solution required by an organisation. This will synthesize information management requirements from across the enterprise, to produce a holistic strategy for the best way to make improvements.
Working with stakeholders
We engage with key project stakeholders in order to determine:
- the amount of information available, its format and where it is located
- how people access and use information
- how information is used and shared across the enterprise
- how information might be better used and deployed to benefit the organisation.
No stone is left unturned in this rigorous process – which is why we have been able to help many high-profile public and private sector organisations to establish sound information strategies based on business need, not guesswork.
Scoping report
The output of our investigations is a scoping report that contains:
- findings and observations from our investigations
- our conclusions
- options for taking information management initiatives forward
- a recommendation on which option (or options) to pursue, with justification
- any identified assumptions, constraints and risks
- suggested next steps
If required, we can also provide a road map for the recommended way forward, and quantify benefits for a detailed cost/benefit analysis of the various options.
